GEMINI is a Chartered Entity chartered in 918 to provide unified data security for sensitive transactions on the Net. Although the Net is Planetfall Tech (it was created and deployed by the Cities at Planetfall) it is not overly complex and its physical infrastructure and protocols are well documented and understood. No part of the Net is beyond current developed technologies and it is now run and maintained — and has been substantially improved and extended — by the Territorial governments and various private companies.
